While summer stone fruit takes up grocery store shelves, Stemilt is gearing up for this year’s Rave apple season and encouraging retailers to do the same.

The Cosmic Crisp apple gained retail momentum this spring and made waves after appearing on the first season finale of NCIS: Hawai’i.

The Stemilt Supers participated in the Brave Warrior Project’s 5th annual Superhero Walk ‘N’ Roll event on Sunday, May 15, 2022 in Wenatchee, Washington.

On Saturday May 7th, we celebrated the 2022 Apple Blossom Festival Stemilt Grand Parade where 4th generation cherry grower, Kyle Mathison, was decked out in his signature overalls on a 1926 Ford Model-T and Stemilt President, West Mathison, at the wheel of the classic Stemilt Volkswagen Ladybug.

The two questions we should be asking ourselves is: “How can we drive retail?” and “how do we help our consumers out during these times?”

It’s been one year since Stemilt Growers, LLC received our certification in Bee Friendly Farming (BFF) through Pollinator Partnership in 2021.

Stemilt is utilizing Farmworker Awareness Week, taking place now through March 31st, to celebrate its company-wide Equitable Food Initiative certification, highlight continuous improvement achievements that its EFI leadership team in Pasco, WA recently completed, and share appreciation for its Stemilters through a first-of-its-kind celebration.
