Coming online in the second quarter of 2022, AeroFarms’ next-generation Model 5 farm will be the largest and most technologically advanced aeroponic indoor vertical farm in the world.

Green Life Farms’ products are currently sold at more than 75 grocery store locations throughout South Florida, including the largest regional grocery chain and several boutique markets.

Starting February 2021, LGF’s full line of products featuring ready-to-eat bagged salad products (Caesar Salad Kit, Southwest Salad Kit, Harvest Salad Kit, Chopped Romaine, and Chopped Butter Lettuce) will be carried by UNFI.

AeroFarms announced that Dane Almassy has joined as VP of Sales to help drive further retail expansion to meet increasing consumer demand for AeroFarms’ safely grown, nutritious and delicious produce.

At approximately 70,000 square feet, the new facility is larger than a football field and contains ten growing layers. It can produce 10 million servings of leafy greens and other vegetables per year while consuming 97% less water than traditional agriculture.

The company has indoor farming operations in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, with three new farms currently under development in North Carolina, Massachusetts and Texas.

Driscoll’s strawberries will initially be grown and developed in Plenty’s Laramie, Wyoming farm, the largest privately-owned vertical farm research and development center in the world.

This new department will focus on indoor agriculture, a growing segment of the produce industry that focuses both on traditional greenhouse production as well as specialized vertical farming.

Empire will place farms in stores across seven cities in Canada, (Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg ) growing millions of hyper local plants for our customers. The first two stores are planned for Vancouver this spring.
