AUSTIN, TX--At the close of the 10th Annual Center for Produce Safety Research Symposium, attendees took a moment to recognize Bob Whitaker, Chief Science & Technology Officer for the Produce Marketing Association for his service to CPS, to PMA, and to the broader fresh produce industry. 

Corsi explained the outreach the CPS Knowledge Transfer Task Force undertook to bring in more attendees, and why it’s so important for the broader produce industry to get involved.

Putting the 2018 romaine crisis into perspective isn’t easy to stomach. The industry can’t move forward until it addresses key issues, panelists said.
