Premier ProduceOne remembers Howard Pavlofsky

Howard Pavlofsky of Premier ProduceOne BB #:293484 Dayton, OH, passed away October 11, 2020 at the age of 62.

Gary Pavlofsky, president and CEO of Premier ProduceOne, said Howard was the oldest son in the 3rd generation of a produce family.


“Our grandfather started a produce route from his grocery store that our father and his three brothers took over as they came of age,” he said.

“Along with some more grocery stores, the produce company became our father’s work. Howard did not start in the family business until later in life, he was a police officer in Orleans, MA, for 17 year. At 45 he came back and joined the company. Howard was a big personality with a huge heart. He loved the work and he loved the people in the business. He handled the company’s trucking and fuel relationships at all 3 DCs in the state of Ohio.”

Howard lived in Columbus, Ohio.

According to his obituary, he was predeceased by his parents, Vernon Pavlofsky and Carol Jean Pavlofsky. He is survived by his wife Kathy Pavlofsky; his children, Veronica Pavlofsky, Ashley Munoz (Eric), Cori Pavlofsky, Victoria Hayes, Erika Hayes and Andrew Pavlofsky (Elisabeth); and his siblings, Marlene Miller (David), Gary Pavlofsky (Lisa) and Ervin Pavlofsky (Wendi). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
